Villa Kotor Bay View is located in a small charming village, a few minutes away from the historic town of Kotor. It is hard to believe that this beautiful stone villa was built 500 years ago! It was built for one of the famous naval captains who made their fortune navigating the seas and retired back to Kotor bay where they could still enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the ocean in their retirement. Villa Kotor Bay View is a large, semi-detached stone villa which comprises 360 square metres of living space and an amazing 500 square metre garden and a private dock for mooring your boat. The thick ancient walls of this villa were built to keep the house cool in the summer and warm in winter time. In most rooms, however, there is air-conditioning and central heating.

The villa is arranged on four floors and has 4 double bedrooms and 2 single bedrooms. In total the house also has 3 sitting rooms and 4 bathrooms, a separate WC and a laundry room.

Ground floor comprises a sitting room with purple sofas, satellite TV and a new, country style, Italian kitchen/dining room, a few steps up from the sitting area. This is a very elegant room with exposed, thick stone walls and direct access to a very pretty, sheltered stone terrace. On this floor there is a separate WC and a laundry room with a washing machine, tumble drier, iron and ironing board. The kitchen is very well equipped with a fridge freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, toaster and cooking utensils and good tableware and there is a separate dining area.

On the first floor is a very grand, second sitting room with white sofas, a satellite TV and a dining table for eight. This living area is of huge proportions, spreading over 90 square metres. An old renaissance balcony of this room has a wonderful view of the whole bay.

At the second floor there are two double bedrooms each with a bathroom and two single rooms. They have sea views and comfortable beds with all bed linen and towels provided.

Steps lead to a lovely, cosy separate apartment in the attic of the villa, here is a superb view of the sea. The apartment has a pretty sitting room with an L-shaped sofa, coffee table and TV, a bedroom with a double bed, a super bathroom and a small well equipped kitchen.

A separate apartment at the back of the villa has its own entrance from the courtyard. The apartment is self-contained with a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and a gallery with a large double bed.

OUTSIDE
Villa Kotor Bay View has a garden and a classical stone courtyard, where through a stunning arched gate you get a tantalising glimpse of the sea, just a few steps away. There are several corners with tables and chairs mingling with palm trees, flowers and scented Mediterranean herbs. Walk through the gate and step onto your own pier, which has terraces of 140 square metres with sun beds and umbrellas. There you can moor your boat and relax on the small sandy beach. As one of the guests said - "What more does a man want?"
Montenegro has international airports at Podgorica and Tivat (located near the Bay of Kotor). Dubrovnik Airport in Croatia is only 15 minutes drive from the Montenegrin border.
Kotor town is 20 minutes drive time from Tivat Airport, one hour drive from Dubrovnik Airport and 65 minutes from Podgorica. Journey time from Podgorica to Budva is 45 minutes and to Ulinj 1 hour 15 minutes.
