Luxury family villa with pool, your holiday home villa Montenegro Bay has 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms and overlooks the romantic, stunning Kotor Bay. This private seafront villa is just 4 metres from the sea and 100 metres from a pretty, pebble beach! It is located 4km from the mesmerising town of Kotor, a UNESCO world heritage site. The whole area is famous for gorgeous sandy and pebbly beaches. Kotor town is surrounded by medieval stone walls which you can climb and enjoy the incomparable sea view. Kotor has excellent restaurants, cafes, bars, pastry shops and the food is healthy and delicious. Its town squares are teaming with people relaxing in the sun whilst sampling delicious coffee or some of the extremely good Montenegrin wines. Visit the maritime museum, galleries, and enjoy the outdoor dance, opera and drama performances in the town square or learn about the fascinating history of Kotor from our guides. Luxury Villa Montenegro Bay comprises 497 square metres of living area, within a 1570 square metre garden (about half an acre). This provides lots of space in- and outdoors. There is parking for 3 cars. The villa is very luxuriously appointed, with a mixture of antique and new furniture and represents the classic Montenegrin style of the early 20th century. The kitchen is rustic, with all modern appliances such as fridge/freezer, cooker, hob, dishwasher, kettle, microwave, cooking utensils and excellent cutlery and crockery. The antique dining table with 10 matching chairs sits the whole party and baby chairs and cots are also provided. All modern facilities are included, such as the WiFi, air-conditioning, TVs, DVD, CD player and HiFi.
Luxury private villa Montenegro Bay is a new villa with a stone built façade and traditional stone arches on the front terrace which overlooks the front garden and the small road that separates the house from the sea. In this covered area you can relax and gaze at the sea, whilst in the evening you will be charmed by the thousands of shimmering lights of Kotor.
ACCOMMODATION
Basement
Wooden steps lead from the hallway into the basement which contains a sauna and a wine cellar.
Ground floor
The ground floor has a living room incorporating a dining area and a kitchen, one bathroom and a gym. The sitting area has three cream sofas, a fireplace, a TV, more antique armchairs, a piano, stylish period curtains and beautiful old chandeliers. With beamed ceiling, exposed stone walls and stone floor, this is just how noblemen of Montenegro decked out their summer houses.
First floor
On the first floor are four double bedrooms and bathrooms of good proportions and mostly furnished with large double beds, whilst there is also an antique set of twin beds in one of the bedrooms. There are wardrobes and desks and the rooms share a very attractive large front terrace spanning the whole width of the villa, measuring 14 by 3 metres. Walk out onto the terrace and enjoy the whole Kotor bay in front of you. At the back of the villa there is a smaller terrace, which overlooks the garden and the pool.
Second floor
The second floor comprises the bedroom number 5, with a double bed, a walk in closet and a bathroom. On this floor is also a second sitting room plus games room, with an L-shaped sofa, a pool table ("billiards"), library, TV room and a cards table. Maybe a loft space for the younger members of the family or extra space for entertainment.
OUTSIDE
The villa is surrounded by a thick stone wall built by artisan specialists, and has a private designated area for parking within its grounds in the front. Several steps lead up to the lower terrace and the pretty front garden, and then there are five steps leading to the front terrace and the main entrance to the house. Whilst next to the villa stands a ruin of the old Venetian manor, waiting to be lovingly restored. Villa Montenegro Bay is the perfect little modern manor, an ideal family holiday home.
At the back of the house the private garden has a stunning, large new pool 11 by 4 metres. There are sun loungers, parasols, outdoor sofas and a summer kitchen, a barbecue and outdoor dining, so you have everything for your entertainment and outdoor living. Scented herbs, palm trees, olive trees and pines enrich this lovely garden with children's play area.
Pets are welcome on request, but the garden behind the house is not fenced.
